We always make homemade iced tea...I've been just using tap water as hot as I can make it over regular tea bags...but your idea of using a little boiling, then steep then add cold sounds like a better way to go for me. We've been using stevia in our iced tea to sweeten it because I didn't know how much splenda to use...so thanks!
