The Photo- Free Blog space is about to be invaded again.
And, yet again next week.
My Pottery Pal is in Saskatoon today and she's picking up the wicker handle for my teapot... so I will share that with you when it's been, uh, handled.
Anyway, I've mentioned "Celtic Crosses"...and here they are:
The large ones are about 6 inches long, and the smaller ones about 3 1/2 inches long.
I thought, since we're in picture mode, that I'd show off my first little Celtic patterned dish. It's about 7 inches long.
Here's a close-up of the pattern.
I've got an 8" square plate in the works. It's glazed and waiting to be fired. I'm excited to see how it turns out. It has a three- colored Celtic knot pattern on it.
Thanks to the Husband for getting my pics off the camera for me, and patiently talking me through the "adding pictures to my world" process.
I'd better be nice to him for the next few days- by the time I'm ready to show you the famous teapot I'll need his help again, as I'm sure to have forgotten how to do it!
Oh, well.
Share my joy!
Those are beautiful!! You know we'll have to get one now.
ReplyDeleteWell done! Can those crosses be fit with some kind of hook for hanging?
ReplyDeleteThey have a hole in the top that a small nail fits through. Randall was thinking of making a wire loop or something to hang it on. But the hole is there.
ReplyDeleteThose are super cool! I love Celtic designs :)
ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous!! Much better than I expected! (my mother in law took a pottery class a while back and she made bowls and ash trays!!!)
