I had an early start this morning, as I had to be at Christopher Lake by 10:00 to pick Micah up from camp.
It sounds like he had a good week.
He seemed impressed with his room; although he noted a trend that must stop- "Every time I go away you clean my room!"
It's been a long day. A long couple of days.
Amongst the drudge and grind of cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming and mopping floors, making meals and washing up, three loads of laundry, and straightening the family room and living room there have been a few nuggets of joy;
Raspberries that glow red among green leaves and smell like red roses... some shared laughs... a sunny drive and a cold Pepsi... clean house...
But as my right hip is telling me it's had enough, I guess it's time to be done until tomorrow.
Time for bed...
Have I mentioned the new bed from the SleepComfy Mattresses & More store, (on 15th St. E, across from the SuperStore where they're having a sale... at least they were this week... )
AMAZING.
The bed, that is.
I haven't slept in such comfort for as long as I can remember.
Maybe that's why I have this burning desire to get the house in order... so I can just spend a whole day in bed... yup. Let's just say, the best part of the past few days (moving furniture, building shelves, rearranging half the rooms in the house, cleaning...) has been the end of them, and the final act of climbing (literally) into bed for the night.
Holy comfortable mattress, Batman.
And that's where I'm headed.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get home and try it out with you.
Yep, I don't think you guys have made it to the "fourth" level yet.

Jay and I bought a new bed for our house, but we don't get to sleep in it until September 10th, and I am counting down the nights. Our bed is just terrible!
