We're working on a new look here, and a new... server? I don't know what it's called. I'm being moved over to Wordpress. Which means to me... not much.
I always tell people that my computer is like an automobile: I can drive it. I can get from here to there. I can navigate, steer, operate it. Just don't ask me how it works.
I've been busy baking.
And baking.
And baking.
And then there was a bit of baking.
Last week I did 9 or 10 people's Christmas baking for them.
I lost count.
This week I've been working on Open House baking. (At our place, this Friday, from 2:00 or so in the afternoon until you all go home or we kick you out. Whichever comes first.)
I think I'm almost done.
I might ice the sugar cookies before I put the laundry away and go to bed.
But, I think the shortbread cookies and gingerbread men are done.
Tomorrow I'll make some diabetic friendly squares and orange/cranberry loaves.
And clean the house.
And give a piano lesson.
And probably make breakfast, lunch and supper in there somewhere.
But I think the baking is almost done. Of course, by the end of the day I'm pretty much seeing double... so there could be less than I think...
Oh, that's a lot of baking. I did my baking yesterday, all day, and I forgot to eat lunch and by the end of the day, the baking nauseates me and I can't even look at it until, well, maybe today?!!
ReplyDeleteI made a new sweet bread recipe that you might be interested in. I'll find out if it was any good or not (it was made to be given away) and will pass it on if you like. Sweet bread with a nutella filling; 2 rolls stacked on top of each other in a tube pan, dusted with icing sugar....
Mmm... sounds nice!
