Moving On

In so many ways.

Time to sweep up the dust, as it settles, and look ahead.

There's an event to anticipate in each upcoming month until September, except May.

(and you thought we were finished!)

There's no rest for the wicked, they say, which makes me wonder just how bad I really am...

Today our daughter and son-in-law start their westward journey, with full hearts and a bursting car.

I think Micah and I have a canasta date for after lunch, when the house will all of a sudden seem far too big for the two of us that are left after the travellers and workingmen leave.

It's been a busy, emotional several months, and it will be good to settle into the quieter routine again.

And this morning, as the spring snow started coming down, I saw a couple of squirrels! First just the one, and then a second who seemed to be sending a message that the first had intruded just a bit too far into second-guy's territory and had better stay on his own side of the field.

Squirrels and snow.

This must be Saskatchewan.

  1. A quiet day at home with some games sounds nice. Maybe Marc and I'll do that tonight after the kids are in bed.

Question: Do you have that tired feeling behind your eyes and in your head? I can't get rid of it. I guess I should've napped today...
