Which means "tomorrow" is almost here.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
I was on the waiting list for a pottery class at the Art Centre, and someone dropped out, so I'm in. I'm excited about it.
It's been a year and a half since I took that first pottery class, and this one is wholly devoted to learning to "throw" pottery on the wheel. (something I do very badly, if the first tries and wonky bowls are any indication)
So, I'm hoping to learn some pottery wheel/ throwing skills, and to maybe get a little good at it.
I can carve, and I'm a passable "hand builder" but thus far the secrets of the wheel have eluded me.
It would be quite thrilling to be able to combine the carving and etching I've been doing with the more traditional pottery kinds of pots.
Anyway.
From 1:00 until 4:00 (or so!) I'll be at the Art Centre.
Getting potty.
YAY!
