DOES---NOT---COMPUTE---

What the heck.

For several hours today, I've been logged onto the Avon website trying to get my replacement set up.

I have to enter all the Appointment Contract information into the appropriate slots, hit "submit", and badabing, she should be good to go.

BUT.

First I have to phone her a couple of times for information that I missed and which has an asterisk, so IT IS VITAL information and MUST NOT BE OMITTED!!!

Fine.

She returns my call, I have the information.

NOW

I've been hitting the submit button and getting ready to throw the computer monitor through the wall, (Knowing that it's not the monitor's fault. Poor monitor is just the bearer of bad tidings...) because every time I try to enter the application, I get a little pop up that says The Representative Must Be Of Legal Age (over 18).

OK.

WHAT PART OF HER BIRTHDATE HAVE I ENTERED WRONGLY TO MAKE HER YOUNGER THAN 18 ALL OF A SUDDEN?!?!

I mean, COME ON!

Year, Month, Day.

Do it backwards and you get a little emergency pop up telling you it's wrong.

Do it with "-" marks and you get a little pop up telling you to use "/" marks.

Do it with "/" marks, and I get "Representative Must Be Of Legal Age."

GOOD GRIEF.

In other news, if you've ever thought of being an Avon Representative, NOW is a good time to sign up. If I get you signed up before Friday, you have the potential to receive $150 of free Avon products! And the sign up fee is only $20.

And by the end of tomorrow I'll KNOW HOW TO DO IT!!!

At least the Avon Representative Customer Care Centre is accessible. And very helpful.

I'll be phoning in the morning.
