God Bless Henry Klassen

Maybe the best thing I learned at College was the Deep Breathing we were taught in voice lessons and Choir.

That Deep Breathing has taken me through more I.V. starts, blood tests and nasty medical procedures than I care to remember.

And so it was again last week.

The staples come out on Wednesday. The bruises will take a little longer to fade.

I was surprised to see that the surgeon made a horizontal incision across my vertical C-Section scar. Not sure if that's "a plus", or if X marks the spot... probably depends on where you're standing.

But it's good to be home.

The bed is more comfortable for one thing.

The "nurses" are a little hairier...

For now, though... just thought I'd let you know I made it through and I'm home.

And at 9:00, it's Med & Bed time again.

  1. Sounds like you have a cool Harry Potter scar, albeit in a less visible place. Glad to hear you're home and healing.

  2. Hope you are feeling better soon! :)

  3. Now that's a thought - custom surgical scars. Although in your case, showing anyone would be a bit of a conversation stopper.

  4. There goes the bikini! Glad you are in good spirits and on the mend. Will keep on prayin. Find a sunny spot and read a good book. You deserve a vacation!

  5. How was staple removal - hope it didn't hurt too much.

  6. glad to see you're up to blogging a bit! Been thinkin' of you lots. If you need
