Oh, Baby, this is my world!

Who am I?     What do I do?      From where do I come?

I am Lauralea Friesen, wife of Randall E. Friesen, mother of Johanna, Hillary, Thomas and Micah Friesen. Married 20 years in August 2005; Professional Wife and Mother. Husband is a professional Pastor in Church ministry. Children are in perpetual motion. You can see us all to the right, there; We are Johanna (child #1), Thomas (#3), Hillary, (#2), Randall, and Micah (#4) in the front. I'm the short one in the middle.

What do I do?

What do I do.

As the professional homemaker, I do a lot of cooking and baking. As a newly diagnosed type 2 diabetic I'm doing a lot of experimenting in the sugar-free zone. I like to knit and sew. I like just about any kind of music, old movies and interesting escapist literature. I like history, mystery...and historical mystery! I liked the Hobbit and Lord of The Rings before it was cool. I like Harry Potter; the books better than the movies. I have what many people consider a well developed sense of humor. I like clever humor, and clever movies and books.

I wash dishes, and do laundry, and iron clothes. I mop the floor when I start sticking to it, I clean the bathtub when we get overnight company and the freezer either when I can't remember what's in the bottom, or there's no room for anything at the top.

I am a product of British Columbia. Conceived, born and raised in and around Prince George, in the central interior. After high school I found myself at the Peace River Bible Institute in Sexsmith, Alberta. Now I am in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, via Winnipeg, MB, via Aylmer, ON.

I am ME, and the best way to get to know me is to join me in my world.

So,

Make yourself at home. Come again; come often. You're always welcome at lauralea.ca!

  6. Lauralea,

Passed on a very belated Happy Birthday to you but have a wierd feeling you may not get it. So I'll pass a quick on one here. All the best and many more. A little concerned about being the "..bailed out" and "POLICE" comments. Sounds like a day in the life around here, days of yore. As I've said, "This too shall pass" (one of these days).

    Happy Birthday

    Bests,

    Gary
