The King Is Coming

No, it's neither Bill Gaither nor a Homecoming tour.

It's what the sign outside the newly renovated, soon- to- reopen- under- new- management Burger King in Prince Albert, SK says.

Sounds like it will be a rapturous event of apocalyptic proportions!

  1. Praise God, it's coming again!

    (or is that sacrilegious?)

  2. Dang it...Dixie just told me that the line from the song is "Praise God, he's coming for me", so my joke doesn't really work...

  3. Oh Man

I am sure I can hardly wait for our next trip home. It is the only fast food restaurant in PA with a playplace (the last time I checked)

Coming from a town with no playplace in any fast food restaurant, Burger King is a treat for the YKHerd whenever they visit Grandma's.

  4. oh peggy, then you haven't seen the ginormous mcd's with the huge children's play area....right on the south end of town when you first come in....

  5. Actually, it looks like there would be a ginormous play area in that McDonalds, with it's high roof and tower, but in fact there is no play area in that McDonalds. At least not the last time I was there (which was some time ago).

  6. Nope. no playing at McDonald's. We've hypothesized that it's too close to the casino, and they might end up needing a permanent Social Service's Worker stationed there to deal with the potential hordes of children being left at the House Of Burgers to play while their parents go to the House Of Gambling.

  7. Yup... Bewilderment at why only in PA they would build a ginourmous building perfect for a play area and.... use that space for more tables. Unless it has been converted...

  8. sadly they took the playplace out of BK. There is now, no playplace anywhere in all the restaurants in PA.

  9. I noticed that driving home from work that Burger King took out their play area. It's not a big deal for anyways as I don't have kids except when my neice and nephew come up. Even then they like McDonalds instead. The red headed clown strikes again!!! HA, HA, HA!!! Sure, I go to McDonalds but truthfully I would rather eat Taco Time, Extreme Pita, Sub Way, or Arby's.
