Then has anyone seen my sewing scissors?!
Maybe they're feeling apathetic like me, and are hiding so they don't get put to work. It's more likely that someone borrowed them, (and they had better not have been used for anything but cutting fabric!) OR, I put them in a bag together with a bunch of miscellaneous objects to carry downstairs. I do that. You know, save many trips, and lump it all together in a handy conveyance. The only problem is when I drop the bag somewhere in the nether regions, and proceed to forget about it. Until I need something that was put in said conveyer, like now. So, I rather hope someone was using them, because then I will find them again, with the added bonus of getting to rant a little! That other alternative will involve time consuming searching and rescuing.
Bah. Humbug.
Well, since every potential scissor borrower is away at school, I should go look a little more.

I understand entirely. My sewing studio right now is in such disarray that I can't find my pincushions. I have 4 student machines and 2 personal sewing machines and a basket with scissors, pincushions, tape measure, hem gauge and seam ripper for each one. Except that most of them are about 3/4 empty! I know where about 2 pairs of scissors are, and one pincushion is, and that's about it. I think it's probably time to clean up in there, but it's going to have to wait until school is out for Christmas break.
