Well...

(Yes, I know... "that's a deep subject"...)

It's a Surreal World here these days.

Just a week ago we were celebrating what we sadly suspected would be our last Father's Day with Randall's Dad.

We didn't realize it would so quickly be our first "last" with him.

The past few days have been such a blur.

Sunday.

Father's Day.

Monday.

Chillin' and catching up.

Tuesday.

Thinking about dressmaking.

Thinking about housecleaning for our much anticipated company.

Wednesday.

Gearing up for Graduation.

Thursday.

Grad Mass.

Getting frantic late night phone calls.

Friday.

Spending the day at the hospital.

Saturday.

Graduation.

The news.

Sunday.

Gathering.

Planning.

Preparing.

Surreal.

Tomorrow night we'll be at the Viewing.

I think reality will hit with a vengeance.

It's slowly starting to creep up on me, although I'm not sure if it's the fatigue or the Codeine cough syrup that the Doctor recommended for the assiduous cough that's getting to me.

Probably both.

Time to find a pillow to hug, and some sheets to slide between.

When I wake up it's going to hurt so bad.

How about we just don't wake up.

Wonder how many times we've thought that?

    We always do though.

Nah, don't want to say all that. You don't need our experiences.

  4. There are just so many things we can't share, can't feel for you and sure can't take away or make easier.

Our hearts ache because your hearts ache.

    Love you.
