While grocery shopping, I saw some strawberry yogurt with a "no gelatin" label on the front!
Knowing that plain yogurt, (with no gelatin added) makes yogurt cheese (as per 'New York Style Cheesecake" instructions for the night before), I wondered if strawberry yogurt with no gelatin added would make strawberry yogurt cheese, and be comparable to flavoured cream cheese...
So, I bought the Danone Naturalia Strawberry flavoured yogurt, which sits in the paper towel in the wire mesh sieve, which rests on a container that is collecting the whey as it drips....
Then I bought some bagels to go with the strawberry yogurt cheese for breakfast.
It's working, so far, and I'm very excited.
It obviously doesn't take much to excite me!
