And since I wasn't able to get back to sleep after waking at 4:30, maybe my righteousness is lacking...

I always thought it was "no rest for the weary". My mother-in-law always says "for the wicked". I always presumed that was her view of me (or maybe something lost in the translation from Dutch). Oh well. Let's say it's both. Although weariness generally makes me wicked...
Ah, but if you follow the link... it seems to be referencing a Bible passage which proclaims torture and/or no peace/rest for the wicked.: )
