One Of The Joys Of Having The Kids In The Catholic High School

Has been the graduation mass and ceremony.

I suspect that many of them don't "get"it, but how cool is it to have the Bishop bless your grad cap before you pick it up?

How cool is it to be reminded that you are going out into the world and should be a light to that world?

I love that God gets a most honourable mention; that their high school career ends with prayer and a blessing.

Almost as thrilling as being in a gymnasium full of K- 8 students singing "O Canada", and hearing "God, keep our land glorious and free"  reverberate around the room.

I love that line in our National Anthem, and I love that whenever it is sung, there is a prayer being prayed.

I may sneak over to Micah's old school for the odd morning assembly, just to hear it again.

  1. Congratulations, Mom, on another one who could never have made it to this point without his mom kicking him out the door at some point in his illustrious school carreer.
