What A Difference A Day Makes

Yesterday at this time... 8:45 am.... I was nicely ensconced in my bed, having been up briefly just before 7:00, at which time I took my meds and went to the bathroom and then back to bed.

We didn't actually get up get up until just before noon yesterday. The two male elements of the household were a little disappointed to discover that the bacon and eggs I had mentioned were intended for supper and not brunch, but they got over it and, instead, turned all the homemade white bread into toast.

Saturday became a sort of leisurely day.

I  mixed up a loaf of white bread to replace that which was eaten, (15 minutes of watching the Kitchen Aid do it's thing) and made 2 batches of cherry jam...

And that's about it!

Swung on the swing until the mosquitoes discovered me...

Checked my email and caught up my Facebook Scrabulous games...

Easy, relaxed, low-key.

We didn't get to bed as early as we should of, but still- after a pretty solid 11 hour night I'd only had an 11 hour day...

And then, as I was resting, waiting for sleep to overtake me, I remembered:

The Coffee.

I made coffee for "breakfast" at noon... and then coffee again for supper... and of course, being the spend-thrift I am, I had to drink the breakfast coffee all afternoon until supper time... and then I drank most of what I'd made for supper...

Mmmhmm....

WHEN WILL I LEARN?!?!

It took quite awhile before I fell asleep, and then the alarm went off just before 5:00 to alert Randall to the time he was to meet the teen camp contingent at the church to speed them on their way... and then just before he got home the neighbour's teens showed up from their all night-er, laughing and talking... I think some music might have been involved.... and Micah's alarm started beeping louder and louder before he heard it from the bathroom and ripped into his room to turn it off...

Let's just say NAPS might be in order this afternoon.

On the plus side... I think the cherry jam is my favourite so far, followed by the raspberry jelly...
