If All Else Fails, Bake Bread

Another showing tomorrow morning.

"So, are you baking break?" asks my friend.

I can honestly say that I have thought about it.

But I haven't resorted to such tactics.

Yet.

Suffice it to say, we're looking at a week? Maybe two weeks until the movers come.

I'm starting to feel the pressure.

So, after waking up at 3:45 am, and staying awake until seeing the Husband safely on his way to Calgary and area,

After a two hour training session this morning, to be a Deputy Returning Officer for the election on the 14th,

After a quick break to grab a bit of lunch and get the sweet and sour meatballs cooked and in the oven for supper,

After the pelvic ultrasound this afternoon,

After a very fun Girls Only Movie Night,

I'm mixing a loaf of white bread in the ever amenable Kitchen Aid.

First I thought I'd just slap it in a pan and let it rise overnight in the fridge to bake in the morning.

But, now I'm thinking I might as well do it right, so I may just leave it on the counter to rise for a couple of hours,

And slap it in the pan when I wake up for my nightly constitutional.

Sheesh.

The things you do  for love to move real-estate.

  1. mom used to put cinnimon and nutmeg in a little pan and put it in the oven before we would have people look at our house...see you dont have to actually bake anything, you just need to smell like youve been there.
