Our Pastor of Youth and Families arranged for and set up a 10,000 Villages "Festival" at the church today.
Some beautiful things, that's for sure.
Can't tell you what I got because Christmas is coming, if you know what I mean.
But it was fun.
I went over yesterday morning for a bit and helped her set up.
Today I went and bought the things that caught my eye yesterday...
And when I checked the menu for today, I saw that I had planned "Rice & Broccoli Chicken", and decided that since I purchased a whole frying chicken to make this recipe that I could invite the other Pastor and her husband for supper. I first invited our mutual friend, Julie who was here with her paintings, classing up the joint with some amazing art work.
It was really fun to entertain again.
And the first loaf of bread since we've moved turned out well.
Neglecting that gift of hospitality leaves me dry.
And the dishwasher?

Supper was cleaned up in less than 15 minutes.
Oh, yeah.
