After spending a good 20 minutes before Church this morning shoring up the trenches for the wires in certain of my foundational garments,
I was glad to remember that Hillary is delivering five new (to me) bras from my Sister-in-law in Saskatoon.
This is the way to go bra shopping.
You send a cheque with one kid, and the other brings home the goods.
You never have to set foot in a store yourself, and someone else has done all the leg work to get those hard to find sized brassieres.
And it is very good timing, as there's not much lifting and separating going on here. Too many broken wires. Or broken wires replaced by too-short wires. Resulting in much pinching and poking.
Looking forward to Thursday.
That's when the girl gets home.
Bringing much needed support.
Wishing you many uplifting feelings.ReplyDelete
You're really an A cup ?! What are you stressing about ?!ReplyDelete
Hope your children aren't too traumatized from buying bras for their mother, and that you feel supported very soon....
Feeling stangely uplifted, but out of (tasteful) puns here.
A cup. Ha!ReplyDelete
And they shouldn't really be traumatized, as these are hand-me-overs that are being sent along. No shopping had to be done. By the children.
And I guess I got the day wrong, so Technical(ly) Support arrives Wednesday.
:) just kidding. nana gave me an extra suit case. i'll see you in a few days.ReplyDelete
ah, good, you commented on the date... i was going to remind you again that i'll be there on wednesday, not thursday. oh, and the braws won't fit in my bags so i'll just mail them collect and you can get them at the post office in a few weeks.ReplyDelete
Remind me to tell you a very funny story about said support item...and the dratted wire that it contains. Never laughed so hard in my life!ReplyDelete
