I Would Not Have Believed It

We struck gold today.

Well, I struck gold for sure.

One of my all time favourite movies has been found and purchased.

Randall bought me my other all time favourite movie awhile ago, ("Guys and Dolls"), and today I found "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers".

FUN!

And to top it off, when we were poking around at that store, there was an ABBA song playing, which I recognized as coming  from the "Mama Mia" sound track. After continuing to listen for a time, Randall admitted that he was a little impressed, and maybe that movie wouldn't have been so bad...

We bought that movie too.

Dixie would be proud.

And tonight?

We watched it.

And then we played all the songs from the movie in "sing along" mode.

Some twice.

And HE? Thought singing along with the songs after the movie was over was more fun than the movie.

Believe it.

ABBA is a power to be reckoned with, my friends.

  3. It's just another chick-flick, really. Look, it MUST be: it has Meryl Streep in it.

  5. I've been wanting to get that movie - it sounds like so much fun!
And where did you get 'Seven Brides for Seven Brothers"? I love that movie, but it's so old it's rarely on TV - I watch it every time I get the chance.

  6. I think it was at the new Best Buy in the Edmonton Commons. I've been looking for it for a LONG time.
