Sheet Yeah

I have a friend who says that if it were humanly possible she would live in bed and just never get up. She loves being in bed.

Me? I don't even like to read in bed because I can't get comfortable and end up with kinks in places that shouldn't have kinks.

So it's been somewhat of a surprise to find myself thinking along those lines since we got the new bed linen on Monday.

600 count cotton and Egyptian cotton sheets.

SO much better than the pilled, 250 count bottom sheet we were sleeping on.

Unbelievably comfortable.

And the Duvet cover that we got for our quilt seems to make it somehow more cozy.

This morning I woke up around 8:00 and got up to take my iron pill. Then I crawled back into bed.

And just lay there, dozing off & on, luxuriating in the feel of the bed.

It might be a good thing that I have to be up at a certain time every morning during the week, because the combination of the new sheets with the less than 2 year old mattress is seductively enticing.

  1. Told you.

You know, if it were me, I'd leave the bottle of pills on my nightstand with a glass of water.

And if I were a little of you and a little of me, I'd set up the Kitchen-Aid and the flour and all the rest there too.

    :)
