We're supposed to be hosting a Youth Activity... games at the Manse. We've got the pool table that came with the place, our foosball table and the X-Box, besides a cupboard full of board games.
So far it's just Micah and 2 other grade 7 & 8 boys.
Not even the ravenous ones!
I'd heard through the grapevine that several kids had other things going today, but I must confess I was expecting a few more...
At least I don't have to feel like I need to be down there mixing it up with them so much. Unless I am in the mood to be laughed at for my negligible X-Box skills.
So, I'll just stir the hot cranberry-apple cider and keep an eye on the caramel popcorn and chips.
The afternoon's not over yet.
