I May Yet Be Able To Claim Part Of This Day

The Welcome Wagon Lady wasn't home...

So I may get to stay in this afternoon and work on that sewing.

It's not that I don't want to go meet the Welcome Wagon Lady.

It's not that I don't appreciate that she has free stuff to give me for moving to this community.

But I was busy all morning.

ALL morning.

And it looked like I'd have to commit myself to all afternoon in town as well.

But since there was no answer when I phoned the Welcome Wagon Lady,

And since she hasn't phoned me back and Randall will be leaving for town any minute now,

I may, (dare I whisper it out loud or will that jinx my freedom?!) be able to stay home.

Supper is taken care of, (frozen chili at Thomas' suggestion). I'll just need to stick it in a bowl and reheat it. I think there are even some buns leftover.

SO!

Hooray for 1.5 people free hours.

Excuse me, while I go make the most of it.
