My Son. The Working Man.

"Mom," he says on his way to his house-sitting gig in the city, "could I pay you to make me a lunch for tomorrow?"

Sheesh.

He says he'll swing by around quarter to eight to pick it up on his way to the farm.

How much would one charge for meatloaf sandwiches to go?!

As if I'd charge him.

  1. So very responsible...to offer to pay. I'm very impressed. My kids just phone and ask, "Mom, would you do me a favour?"...and of course I do. Always. And with pleasure.
It's nice that they still need us and give us opportunities to look after them in small ways.
