It's Not You, It's Us

It was a very nice rejection letter, but all the same...

"We  reviewed it with appreciation for its merits, but found that it does not suit our publishing program."

Ah, well.

Something to do after Christmas, I guess.

But I'm not discouraged or anything.

I just have to go to number two on the list.

And not tell them they're number two.

Nobody likes to think they're not your number one!

It's good to have a project and a goal.

First let's get through the rest of November and  tackle December.

Then we'll get out the stamps again.

  1. Funny, I was just thinking about your book today. That's too bad. Here's to #2!

  2. At first, when I scanned, I read, "Well, I'll just have to go number two on the list"

When I re-read it, it made more sense.

  3. Have you considered self-publishing? I know two people who have done that; one VERY successfully. A little more work on your part.

  4. I love Johanna's comment.But how unlike you.

No, it was a good story. I think Kieran liked it. Yep try number 2.
