Not Sure I'm Ready For This

I'd better be, by 12:30 or so.

That's when the kids should start arriving.

It's VBS/Carnival Day here in The Field.

It looks like it will be a good day for it- unless the wind that is blowing the mosquitoes toward Saskatchewan also blows the bean-bag toss & inflatable slide away.

I think I'm ready to teach my 1/2 hour lesson four times. My biggest concern is that I'll find out halfway through the third group that the story I switched in has been taught in another session.

Oh, well.

We'll take that as it comes.

As I look out the back window and see two guys in the cemetary with a front end loader, I wonder if it's colder than it seems at first glance; they're both buttoned up to the neck (coats) wearing hats & gloves. Well, farmers always wear hats...it's the gloves and coats that worry me!

That and the cold breeze moaning and whistling through the partially opened windows...

Better wear a sweater with the shorts today...
