It was a good day, all in all.

Had to get one of the kids to a passport related appointment in Edmonton right after lunch, and since we were there, we parked on Whyte Avenue to hang out at the bookstores for a while.

Salad and spaghetti at the Olive Garden followed by a little dreaming at Best Buy...

And we're home.

The hockey game is over, the news, for a change, has been watched, and the bed beckons.

Now.

What to do with the offspring who seem to think that it is time to eat their leftover supper and/or clean/sort/rearrange their rooms while doing laundry and listening to television or radio or something...

If the banging/shuffling/thumping keeps me awake tonight I will be less worried about grinding coffee first thing in the morning.

I'm just saying.

Ah, well.

Let's give it a try, shall we.
