You Know It's A Good Day When

Ah... The sweet smell ... and taste... of success.

There's a Ladies' Brunch planned at the church this morning (11:00, Ladies! Come on over if you're free, or relatively unexpensive, this morning!) and I'm bringing muffins.

I was waffling between something apple-streuselly, and something lemon-poppyseedish. The lemon-poppyseed was winning out, so I went in search of a recipe.

It only took three cookbooks for my Eureka! moment, and this morning I made some very yummy lemon-poppyseed muffins. 

Deeelish.

After the breakfast taste test, I'm left with a feeling of accomplishment that more than makes up for the continuing sinus headache that is threatening to go from "on the verge" to "think you can ignore me? think again!!!"

Ah, yes. A good morning so far, with a nice hour and a bit in which to do a sinus rinse, have a steamy shower and get beautiful before facing the greater reality.

... and for the Acetaminophen to kick in...
