Cooking Wild Rose Hips

And filling the house with a strangely distracting perfume...

Not quite a lovely and delicious scent, but not quite a stink either.

At least it's not an abhorrent smell. That would totally have taken the joy out of the whole process.

Tonight will be straining the wild rose hip liquid through the jelly bag. Maybe tomorrow will be turning the wild rose hip juice into wild rose hip jelly.

Kind of exciting...
