Don't Even Ask

I have twice as many children as my sisters

But that doesn't mean that they are twice as bright.

It just means that my two sisters are both twice as good at saying, "No, my dear, I've got a headache, not tonight."

I have twice as many children as my sisters.

Each of them have only two, while I have four.

Now this doesn't mean that they are half as good at being mothers, it just means when we have free time, they have more.

I have twice as many children as my sisters

And it means that life is sometimes twice as fun.

Now, I hasten here to add that when we all were through with babies, they were finished, yes, but I was twice as done.

I don't understand how my thinking processes work any better than you do. A rhythm, a rhyme come to you in the shower... what do you do with it?! I have to blogorcise it. (kind of like exorcism, but without priestly involvement.....usually)

  1. I can tell you're still young, Laura. By my time of life you'd forget the rhyme between the shower and the keyboard. ;)

Did you get my email BTW?

  2. Lovely, just lovely :o)

I have more of everything than my sisters - this really brought a smile to my face.

I use and abuse my blog in the same way - what goes into my head must come out somewhere. Hallelujah for blogs!

  4. I used your contact form. From Marc's experience, it seems to take some days for the mail to move from the form to your email account. My email address in the day is tertl at d s l a b s .com

  5. Actually, the mail usually comes right away. It's just that I have it going through Gmail and not directly to my SaskTel account. Gmail is supposed to forward it to that account but did not...
