First thing this morning I received a summons to the downstairs toilet, which was plugged.
Foul mess averted; sanitation restored.
Then, in between switching laundry around, from floor to washer to dryer to basket to drawers, I assembled 2 file cabinets.
Flushing toilet.
Two file cabinets.
Four drawers.
Cam Lock Screws and Cam Locks figured out.
No broken nails or screw drivers through fingers.
No glue dripping where it shouldn't.
No sewage burbling over toilet rims.
Just 2 nicely built bits of solid, sturdy furniture, and a functioning human waste receptacle.
Yay me.
Maybe I should have been a plumber or a carpenter.
The pay would be considerably better.
Now, back to the ironing.

ReplyDeleteIt honestly irks me that I pay a teenager 4 or 5.00 an hour to just watch then kids...far *less* than I do at home. I'd love a paycheque like that.
