Another Day Older And Deeper In Debt

(St. Peter, don't you call me, cause I can't go... I owe my soul to the Company Store.....Mmm... Lorne Greene... dead sexy voice...)

Right.

Give your head a shake.

Sandwich for Thomas' lunch... phone calls to complete the Avon order... check the email to see when that meeting will be... some laundry?... some tidying... maybe finally sort out the files in the basement... pottery tonight?...

I think the emptiest days on the calendar tend to become the busiest.

First breakfast and that boy's lunch.

  1. Lauralea: If my memory serves me correctly, it is not Lorne Greene who sings that song. I think it is Tennesee Ernie Ford. Me thinks?

  2. Mmmm... nope- "Sixteen Tons" on the "Bonanza; Ponderosa Party Time" Album. Sung by Lorne Greene.

  3. Although, for the record (ha! record- get it?!) Tennessee Ernie Ford DID "record" Sixteen Tons as well, (and probably first). It's just that I remember the Lorne Greene version off that Ponderosa Album.

  4. Yep, that is exactly correct. You see, I am ahead of you in this life span of ours. Records? They are sitting in my living room, many of them, but, I just can't seem to part with them. Whe I go, I guess, I guess the kids will dospose of them.
