As I was expecting him here sometime to take the inside pictures for the Internet listing.
Consequently, I was glad I had decided to make the bathtub shiny for it's photo.
Also glad the vacuum had already been dragged upstairs.
"How's it going?" he asked.
"Just about ready for the pictures," I said.
"Are you ready for a showing?"
As it was only 9:30 in the morning, and I had just sprayed the tub with half a bottle of CLR, it took a few minutes to compute.
"A SHOWING? As in someone wants to come LOOK already?!"
My mind is flashing, like a freaky memory sequence in a bad horror film from threads and fluff on the living room carpet, to the linen closet in the hall, to the dripping tub surround and foamy bathtub...
"Good. They'll be there at 10:15."
It's half an hour later and I'm still a little shaky! But I got the bathtub wiped down, the carpets all vacuumed and the hall closet straightened.
And now that the house is ready for pictures... I'm thinking I should go take a nap!
Although, that would mess up the bed...
