Like A Lump Of Lead In My Chest

At the funeral service for my 7 week old nephew.

I hadn't met him yet.

It was so unreal.

It was hard.

It's always a hard thing when a child dies. Harder when the child is just an infant.

But hardest of all

Was having to watch my brother grieve.

This man, who's life was turned upside down by the birth of this baby.

This man, who's life is turned upside down by the death of this baby.

God give him grace to find you in this insanity.

Incomprehensible as it is.

  2. Sorry for the last annonymous comment.

My thoughts remain the same. So, so hard.

  3. I still seemed to come out as annonymous. I hope I have fixed the problem. Sorry.

  4. Been thinking of you and your trip to Calgary...but most of all for your brother and sister-in-law - my heart hurts for them.
