It's A New Day

(And not in the Willard and Betty Thiessen sense.)

Nope.

Just another week, dawning bright and... cloudy for a change.

Every day last week pretty much started out with bright, clear, blue skies and ended with big, dark promising looking rain clouds rolling in for the night. We never did get any rain, and the next day always started clear and sunny again.

Maybe this will be the water week. We could use some moisture, that's for sure.

No, I ended last week thinking, "Ah. A nice, quiet week. Nothing up this week at all."

I was planning the next 2 sewing projects and thinking ahead to next week's company...

And then at church, yesterday, I was reminded that the Women's Retreat that I signed up for starts this Friday.

It will be a good opportunity to get to know some of the ladies a bit better, but it does throw a wrench into my lazy, relaxed week!

My  brain already began kicking it up a few notches.

So, what started, (in my own befuddled mind) as an easygoing kind of week with a Doctor's appointment this morning and a fun date night on the horizon for Wednesday has the potential to become a little crazy as I plan for a couple days away with a long anticipated guest coming as soon as I get home.

I guess it will be as crazy as I let it be. And really, the spare bed is already remade since my sister was here, and if the first thing we have to do next week together is grocery shop, so be it!

I should, however, go start making noise; We have to be halfway to town in an hour, and I haven't yet showered and he isn't up.
