It Doesn't Look So Bad Out There...

'Course... I took my glasses off to see the computer screen...

Not sure what today holds, but in my heart it feels like a snow day.

At the beginning of the week I was thinking Thursday, today, would be a good day for shopping and a haircut in Camrose, but Randall went to Wetaskiwin yesterday and as the forecast looked pretty snowy, I texted him a list of essentials so that he could stop at Safeway on his way home and I wouldn't have to go out after all.

Winter is here.

But the sewing room has been found- spare bed, work desk, shelves and all, so some sewing may be in order. Or some knitting in front of the fire. Or "Guys and Dolls". Or a long nap.

Not sure what will be accomplished today, but when the original intent gets shifted on account o' weather, it feels like a whole host of possibilities is opened up.

I'm just glad I wasn't the poor schmuck who had to shuffle through the snow in the semi-darkness at 7:45 to catch a bus to high school this morning.

I think I'll greet him with fresh, warm cookies and hot chocolate when he comes home in the semi-darkness at 4:30 this afternoon.

There we go.

The end of my day is planned, now I just have to make something up for the beginning...
