Don't Go There

I have been avoiding Facebook lately...

Nothing personal,

It's just the Scrabulous glitch.

The one that starts 3- 9 games for every one you're trying to start.

This, for me, means that although I only have 8 or 9 opponents,

I actually have 29 or 30 games going.

Which also means, for me, that what used to be a 15 minute "coffee break" game check

Has turned into an hour long game checking commitment.

At least I've learned how to turn me off- make it look like I'm not online, I mean.

If someone starts a chat while I'm trying to "quickly" check my games, it can add another hour to the process.

And the trouble is that I'd just as soon chat with someone and play Scrabulous as do more mundane things...

Ah, well.

If any of you are wondering, it's not that I don't love you anymore, it's just that today and tomorrow are looking very busy... so I might not be able to commit to checking Scrabulous games until the weekend.

And if I am keeping up with you?

You'll know I really love you best, so don't tell anyone I've played my turn on one of our 6 games. It'll just make the others jealous.

  1. ...like a pusher who stands on the corner offering you one little game, the wham, you're hooked and can't get free and he just dumps more game on you.

    Just say NO to Facebook.
