In the pantry beside the flour bins.
In the drawer with his work out clothes.
Under the bathroom sink in an empty Tampon box.
In the freezer, wrapped in brown paper labelled "Liver". (also a good way to hide Christmas baking)
In a watertight bag, in the toilet brush holder.
Anywhere in plain view as long as it's not beside the remote control, the spot he drops his keys and the mail, or where he keeps his snacks.
In the diaper bag, if you're still in the diaper bag stage.
In the canner, on that shelf in the basement.
Mixed in with the cookbooks.
In a box in the garage labelled "pottery supplies".
Anywhere laundry related: in the dirty clothes hamper, in the ironing basket, in the dryer, hanging from the drip-dry line.
Don't give him too many ideas. And what is this about "work-out" clothes? He's turned over a new leaf?ReplyDelete
Perfect ideas actually.
Love it. LOL
(That's the point, Linea... if he HAS work out clothes, does he ever use them? Ergo: a good place to hide his gift.)ReplyDelete
Our place is on the smallish size. Could you stop by and do a hiding place assessment for me? I don't have quite as many options. But the in plain view option really resonates with me. I can't tell you how many times I have said, "Did you really not see that? It's been there at least two weeks..."ReplyDelete
I think the empty tampon box and the package of liver in the freezer are great! Might have to employ that in the future. However, my husband is in a wheelchair, so basically anything that it is higher than four feet high (upper kitchen cupboards, shelf in the closet, etc) works well for me :)ReplyDelete
LOL to all the comments!ReplyDelete
Oh! Angie! That reminds me that I was going to add, that any spot that's on par with my knees (what- maybe 1.5 or 2 feet from the floor?) is a good place to hide my 6'2" husband's gift...ReplyDelete
Why not just wrap it and put it under the tree??????ReplyDelete
The tree's not ready! (See above post)ReplyDelete
